I was lucky enough to have been connected with Jamie about two months before my wedding. On our first call, she asked all of the right questions and immediately understood the vision. She took so much weight off of me by communicating all of my wishes to the venue staff and chosen vendors. She did not limit her services to just the big things, but was kind enough to help me with the little things, too, such as finding the perfect pair of wedding earrings and naming my signature cocktail. Three days before the wedding, when the forecast called for thunderstorms on my special day, Jamie coordinated a call with the venue staff and enacted Plan B. She made sure all parties knew the ceremony would be moved inside and even adjusted the florals to match the crisp modernness of the indoor space. She left no stone unturned. Not only is she incredibly professional and reliable, but she has exquisite taste, so you can trust that her input will take your wedding to the next level.
On the day of the wedding, she was in constant communication with me, informing me of all the vendor arrivals and any timeline changes. She expertly ensured all the decor was arranged as I wished and that all desired photos were taken. I was very stressed and anxious on my wedding day, but Jamie's calm and composed spirit instantly brought me peace. During the reception, she made sure everything flowed seamlessly from the intros to the dances to the speeches to the cake cutting, to the handing out of party favors, to our tandem bike exit. I truly believe that it is because of her that I could be as present as possible on the greatest day of my life.
If there is one piece of advice I have after being a bride, it is that you must have a planner/day-of coordinator. And beyond that, it must be Maison D'Amour. She is refined, organized, decisive, prescient, and above all, she is passionate about making your wedding day magical.
